This blog is meant to accomplish two goals. The first is to keep friends and family up to date as I travel in India. The second, which I suppose is related to the first, is to give my mom a bit more proof on a daily basis that I am still alive and kicking.

This is gonna hurt
I've booked a flight to Vegas from San Francisco for the day I get back from India. Vegas operates about 12 hours off from the rest of the US so it should be the perfect place for me to recover from the jet lag, right?
Vegas has the perfect hangover remedy - plastic football shaped vessels filled with saccarine sweet rum and 151. You can't lose.
